PAINTS held a Call for Art for 2D, 3D, and jewelry for the PAINTS Big Art Show. The Big Art Show will be open to the public between March 2nd-10th, 2018 at the Piedmont Center for the Arts (801 Magnolia Avenue). PAINTS received over 40 entries and accepted about 40% of all the pieces submitted.

- Etienne Fang is a human-centered strategist dedicated to designing impactful integrated brand experiences. With a background in art/design and research/strategy, she thrives at the convergence of these disciplines to create new value for organizations. Currently, she is UX Insights Strategist at Uber. Previously, she led consumer strategy at Method Products and VF Corporation’s innovation center for its top brands (Vans, North Face and Timberland). She has designed products and experiences for The Clorox Company, The Coca-Cola Company and Gap Inc. Etienne got her start in the art world as archivist and educator at P.S.1 Contemporary Art (now Museum of Modern Art). She served as National Lead for AIGA’s K-12 Design Education initiative and taught in alternative public schools in NYC. She holds degrees in Environmental Design from Parsons School of Design and in Education from Sarah Lawrence College. Etienne grew up in Piedmont and continues to be a passionate advocate for art in education through her support as board member of PAINTS.
- Anna Chambers graduated from California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in character animation. She has worked on a number of animated television shows doing character and prop design, and background painting. Anna ran her own business for 8 years designing and manufacturing plush children’s toys which she was awarded ‘best plush design’ from the designer toy awards in 2011. Her plush designs have been showcased around the world. A few of her clients include, Cartoon Network, Disney, Dreamworks, Hasbro, Sony and Target. Currently she is creating character designs for new animated pre school shows. Anna lives in Piedmont and loves to create messy art projects with her two kids.
